2. What we collect and why
Email sign-up. When you join our list we store your email address, your preferred language, and the date and time you gave your consent. We use this only to tell you about the launch of Sunlit Moments, our community and upcoming events. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; revFADP Art. 6 and 31). You can withdraw it at any time.
Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, date and time, browser type and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the website securely and is kept only briefly. The basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising tools or analytics profiles on this page.
3. Fonts
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). Your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address. The basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent design. More information: Google privacy policy.
4. Service providers and transfers abroad
We use carefully chosen providers to host the website and store sign-ups. They process data only on our behalf and under a data processing agreement. Some may process data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States. Transfers take place only to countries the Swiss Federal Council recognises as offering adequate protection (including countries of the EU/EEA and certified companies under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), or on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as adapted for Switzerland. We do not sell or rent your data.
5. How long we keep data
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we stop the mailing list. We then delete it without delay, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Your rights
Under Swiss law and the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you, and receive a copy;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
- withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format.
To use any of these rights, simply email us. You may also complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, edoeb.admin.ch; if you live in the EU, the authority in your country.
